This is one of our most exciting departures. Built for photographers and safari goers of any kind, no one will be disappointed with with what this expedition has to offer. By combining these two extraordinary destinations our chances of numerous sightings of cheetahs, lions, black rhinos, leopards, elephants and so much more, are very high.

Ngorongoro itself is certainly one of the most spectacular sites on earth. Dramatic dark clouds creep down the blue haze of the crater rim, only to rest on the crater floor against mats of striking marigolds and purple pan weed. Throw in lions, hyenas, large elephants with impressive tusk and black rhinos and you have a bucket list destination like no other.

The Serengeti too is a spectacle to behold. Its vast grasslands provide some of the cleanest picture plains on the continent, peppered with monolithic kopjies that are frequented by cats of all kinds.

This trip is designed to maximise time in zones that are prolific with wildlife, minimise travel time and ensure our clients come home with a portfolio to rival the best and memories that will last a lifetime.

Day 1, Arrival

On the 9th of May we depart for Ngorongoro Crater at around midday or earlier depending on arrival times. Some of you may fly in and transfer straight onto the safari and some of you may come a day early and spend a night at Airport Planet Lodge, a lovely spot. Regardless, you will e met and transferred to where you need to e, hassle free.

Day 1-5, Ngorongoro Crater

After transferring from Kilimanjaro we arrive at Ngorongoro Serena. A magnificent lodge with extraordinary views of the crater itself. We spend the next days photographing lions, black rhino, large elephant bulls, hyena, leopard and amongst some of the most spectacular scenery on earth!

Day 5 -10, Serengeti NP

After our stay in the Ngorongoro Crater we head westward into the Serengeti eco-system, a vastly different landscape awaits us but is on par of the beauty of the Crater. Staying at the stunning and authentic Lemala Ewanjan camp, we have easy access to the region of the Serengeti that is know for its rock 'kopjies' that are frequented by predators of all sorts but mainly lion, cheetah and the occasional leopard.

Day 10, Departure

After what I am certain will be a photographic safari of a lifetime, we board a light aircraft in Seronera, near to our camp, and fly on back to Kilimanjaro and our onward flights home.

Day 1

On the 9th of May we depart for Ngorongoro Crater at around midday or earlier depending on arrival times. Day 1 - 5

After transferring from Kilimanjaro we arrive at Serena Ngorongoro, a magnificent Lodge with stunning views of the crater itself. We spend the next days photographing lions, black rhinos, large elephant bulls, hyenas, leopards - all roaming in a backdrop of the most spectacular scenery on earth!

Day 5 - 10
